Our Story
Lonnie and Tammie while riding in Sandusky during Bike week 2014 found their lake house and loved the area so much that in 2016 they transferred their jobs to the area . In 2023 the oprotunity to purchase a historic bar in grill in Whites landing and restore it to an awesome destination for all to visit . With their Moto " Come by Wind or Wave " Rum Runners Cove Inn was Opened in April of 2024 and has been a huge success. In Nov of 2025 Lonnie and Tammie purchased Bay Harbor Marina next to Rum Runners to expand upon our vision to be the number 1 destination on Sandusky Bay. In 2026 we moved into the marina to be avaliable for our customers . We decided to share our home as a vacation rental it is one of the most unique houses on the bay only 7 miles from the Bar and Marina. We look forward to serve all our new and future friends for many years to come .
